Tropicana and our marketing arm Arcella are family-owned companies which grow, pack, ripen and distribute bananas from our farms and packhouse in North Queensland to major supermarkets and premium independent retailers utilising our sites in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne markets. 

Over 50 years, Pat Arcella has developed the company with the support of a great team of almost 200 people headed by long-standing farm managers, salespeople and family Carmen, Rosa, Frank and Dom.

We have expanded our farming and marketing services to include growing 100 acres of lychees in Mutchilba (Queensland), establishing a brand-new avocado packing shed in Manjimup (Western Australia) and marketing of numerous other fruit and vegetable produce lines. Our business prides itself on reliability, consistency and hands-on management.
